My Travel Story

Hello!


I will be volunteering at the Cambodian Children's House of Peace also called Santepheap in Khmer, in the Siem Reap province this summer for three weeks. This is a locally run NGO that provides food, shelter, education and health care to poor or orphaned children that would not have access to these things otherwise. It is the home of 30 children between the ages of 7 and 18. Santepheap has changed the lives of many children and will continue to grow with the help of funding. It runs solely on donations and this is why it is important to support this organisation for it to stay alive.

I would like to raise as much money as I can for this organisation as I believe that it is one of a kind and must continue to flourish and help as many children as it can. Many families are still trying to recover from the Khmer Rouge era with most of them having been torn apart. Any contribution will make a huge difference to Santepheap and the lives of numerous children.
