Hello Everyone willing to help make a difference

I have an opportunity to work with children who are affected by HIV/AIDs in South Africa and hopefully make a difference to their lives. 

In July 2015 I will be going to St Lucia, South Africa where I will be volunteering in the organisation Kaya's 'HIV/AIDS Education and Orphan Daycare Project'. HIV/Aids is widely spread in St. Lucia and many children are orphaned. I will be working in a project alongside orphanages and daycare centres to help keep these children off the streets, and instead provide them with care and education. This project not only provides additional resources and food, but it also provides a safe haven for the children to go to when they have no alternative care available.

In order to raise funds towards my trip, I will be running 200km in total (not all at once ;) ) between now and the day I leave which is the 25th July. I will be posting pictures on the campaign site on my progress which hopefully be improving as I get nearer the date :) 

I am extremely greatful for the opportunity which I have been given by the organisation Kaya and are working hard to raise the neccesary amount needed to make it a reality for me to travel to South Africa to help the children.
