My Travel Story

Hi, friends and family!

I have been accepted into a volunteer program in Cartago, Costa Rica this summer for four weeks. I am so excited I was accepted into the program, but am now working on gathering the funds. I will be there for four to six weeks, will be living with other high schoolers from around the world, and volunteering in local grade schools. I am looking forward to meeting all kinds of people, being in new surroundings, and completely immersing myself in Spanish. The cost of the program is $5854, so I am using this website to raise a portion of the funds.

I promise to:

1. Work hard at learning lots of Spanish!
2. Keep my travel journal blog updated (it is already up and running!).
3. Be an excellent teaching assistant.
4. Represent America well.
5. Immerse myself in the local culture.

$10 would be great, but anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated!
