Howdy Friends and Family!

I have some news! I have made the decision to go to Gansbaai South Africa, the shark capital of the world to study Great White Sharks! I have been accepted by a volunteering abroad company called Go Eco to work alongside fellow marine biologists on an active research vessel studying these powerful animals! I will also be observing marine mammals in the area including Southern Right whales, Humpback whales, Bryde's whales and a variety of dolphins. As most of you know I have found my passion in life, educating people of the wonders in the ocean. This will give me the opportunity to take the knowledge and experiences I gain back to the students I teach.

Please help support me in my dream to get to South Africa and I will promise to:

1. Try as hard as I possibly can to get featured on Shark Week

2. Not get eaten by a shark to get featured on Shark Week

3. Take AMAZING photos

4. To be very safe!

5. To create amazing memories and share them all with you through my facebook page.

Thank you so much for even considering helping, any support would be so amazing even if it’s as simple as an encouraging message. I love you all and please keep me in your prayers as I prepare for South Africa!!!

Cheers,
Rena
