My Travel Story

I am 25yrs old, and have never been sure what to do with myself.  All i knew is that I wanted to make a difference in the world.  Never really fitting in because I had a different view on life, I have basically been a loner.  Being born into a family that really didnt have the patience or time for me as a child, life and experience was my parent and teacher.  Thankfully drugs, and ill mannered lifestyles I have been protected from.  I now know that inorder to know where you are going you must first know where you come from.  My families roots are from jamaica and they have a medical school that in 5.4 yrs I will be a MD.  Due to their international accreditation I will be able to come back to america and do my residency after sitting for the USMLE exams.  With this medical License I will than further my education into trichology to help develop a holistic approach to hair loss of all races.  I have no steady place to live and my family is unfortunatley not in position to help support this educational venture.  This trip will not only help me reach my goal educationally, give me stability, but it will also help me help others.  Growing up in the ghettos of NYC, I ask you to help a female who was subject to unfortunate circumstances, make a better life for the world and for herself.  "NO MAN IS HIS OWN ISLAND" is a statement made form old times, I however have had no choice. In my time I have earned my emergency medical technicain state license, and am a caregiver at Homestead senior care.  I love people, and get great satisfaction in helping them.. Please I humbly beg if one person donates just a dollar I can possible reach my goal and head to school for january 2016.
