My Travel Story

Traveling abroad to South Africa will give me an opportunity to gain better knowledge about different cultures when going into my medical career. This opportunity will help me to better connect with my community at home and make it a better place. I'm passionate about this project because these kids need love and support and I need to do do something and not sit around. This project means so much to me because my little brother is adopted and he didn't get the tender love and care when he was growing up and giving that to these kids would make the biggest impact. I chose South Africa because one of my family memebers went to South Africa on a missions trip and hearing about her story tugs at my heart knowing that could be me making such a big difference in a little kids life. Knowing I can spread the word of Jesus and teach kids how to spell, and giving them a better shot at life makes it all worth it.
