My Travel Story
My name is Miracle, I’m a 25-year-old recent Psychology graduate, actress, and full-time bartender. This summer, I’ve been given a life-changing opportunity to study abroad in Italy—and it will be my very first time ever leaving the United States.
This journey means more to me than just travel. I've been independent since I was a teenager, working hard to support myself through school and life. I come from a working-class family where travel has never really been an option. My mom—my biggest cheerleader—passed away recently, and my father is not present in my life. While I support myself entirely through bartending, covering the full costs of international travel, academic fees, and living expenses is simply more than I can carry alone right now.
This trip is a chance for me to heal, grow, and see the world for the first time with my own eyes. I want to study cultures, learn through lived experience, and come back home with a widened heart and mind. But I need a little help to get there.
