My Travel Story

I have been on the road to self discovery, as my 30th birthday approaches. As a child I wanted to be a Marine Biologist, traveling the world, making a difference, maybe even discovering a new species of animal. Although as most children do, I grew up and pursued a career in business; the practical route, not the passionate one. Even though I sold out to corporate America, the need for adventure, the purpose of giving back and the love for animals is still strong within me. I truly believe this trip will allow me to discover who I am, unleash my inner child and embrace my adventerous spirit. 
       I chose South Africa as my destination (The African Big 5 & Wildlife Conservation). The idea that I could make a difference in rehabiliating animals and their ecosystems while gaining knowledge and giving back to the local communities is truly inspiring to me. I know this experince will help me grow as an individual and open my mind and soul to something so foreign to me. This is a once in a liftetime opportunity and I look forward to the adventure.
