Hello! My name is Mari and I'm from Georgia.
I'm a high school student and I have always been interested in the Japanese language and culture. That's how I found out about Japan's Summer exchange programs. I've been planning to apply to exchange programs for years now, but I never had a chance to do it because program's fees are very expensive for us. During these years I begged my mom to let me go there and we tried our best to save up some money, but it's still not enough. other than program's fees there are other expenses such as registration fee, airplane tickets,,transportation,Visa and etc.
As I mentioned before it's my dream to go there. After I graduate high school I'm planning to apply to a university and take international relations degree and connect my future to Japan. Even now I'm attending a Japanese language school in my country. Going with this summer program will definitely take a big impact on my education, It will help me improve my Japanese(I'll be staying with a local Japanese family) it will help me learn more about its culture and also my dream of visiting japan will come true. also, the fact that I will be taking some classes there and I'll be getting a certificate- that will help me in lots of things in the future:))
