LRTT 2019 Unganda Fellowship
My Travel Story
I have officially been accepted to attend the Limited Resource Teacher Training (LRTT) Uganda Fellowship for the summer of 2019. LRTT provides training for teachers who serve economically disadvantaged students. As a participant, I will learn innovative teaching strategies to implement in my classroom. This once in a lifetime opportunity will help me grow as an educator, receiving 100 hours of professional development and meaningful and enriching experiences to share with my students in the states.
To travel to Uganda and work with educators from across the country who also want to improve their teaching practices and give the very best instruction to our students, is an opportunity like none other!
While I am grateful for this amazing opportunity to study abroad, my lack of finances to underwrite the cost of the trip could jeopardize my chances to attend. I’m asking for donations from family, friends and all who are willing to contribute to the expense of my summer training in Uganda. All contributions great or small are sincerely appreciated!
