Hello to all of you! My name is Kenneth, and I'm assisting a friend who is a sophomore at Boston College majoring in marketing and communications. He is thrilled to share that he will be studying abroad at the University of Melbourne in Australia starting in the upcoming semesterThis is a fantastic opportunity, and he is incredibly appreciative of his friends and family for helping him along the way with his education. As a young child in a low-income Maryland family, he could only dream of travelling with his family. In the hope that they would one day be able to see the globe and all it has to offer, his parents—both South American immigrants who had grown up in difficult circumstances—dreamed of the locations they would travel to throughout the world.He feels extremely fortunate to be able to report that he and his parents have been able to travel on their own, saving money to visit Lisbon, Paris, Rome, and their native Peru and Brazil. His parents have given him the chance to travel the globe in ways that they could never have imagined when they were his age, and these excursions are only possible because of their tremendous sacrifice, laborious effort, and commitment to global cultureRegretfully, the expense of travelling to Australia is more than it has been on any of our earlier excursions. We are obviously trying to save as much money as we can, but I would be eternally grateful if you or someone you know could donate any amount to help make my trip a bit easier. Many thanks for that!
