Our family is made up of many ethic backgrounds. I myself have British, Scottish, and Welsh, and a dash of a few others. My husband is of Mexican decent with Spanish bloodline. Our child of course the mix between the 2. But when I say family I don't mean just us, we have an extended family of friends with various backgrounds. Some from India, Germany, Italy, Poland, Nigeria, Austria, and who knows where else. We often find ourselves immersed in conversation with people of all backgrounds and truly enjoy the difference in each person. Traveling abroad for us as a family would allow us to interact with people of all backgrounds and generations. We seek to find life long friendships throughout the world and continue to teach our children that being different is a wonderful aspect of life. For God knew that being different would keep us from boredom. As a child I would often daydream about meeting people across the seas, I would play out the meeting and greeting of people using all the different types ways to say Hello! My children acquired that same thrist for mankind and surround themselves in various cultures. My son has multiple friends online from Austria, the UK and Japan. My daughter has friends from India, South Korea, Macedonia and England. These are people whom they speak daily with. So this trip in short is many things not just one. It's a time to spend together as a family and discover our roots of ancestry, it's a time to make new friends, time to meet face to face with old friends and a time to explore the rich culture, cuisine, faith, and practices of the world, it's also a time to teach my children history, art and politics. We would love the opportunity to share our experience with you all via social media and  blog/vlog. All we ask in return is your support and prayers that we are Abe to raise the funds necessary to take this once in a life time trip!
