My Travel Story
My name is Anna, I've been stuck desperately trying to get out of a tiny desert town (tonopah, Nevada) for the past 4 months due to recent extremely unfortunate events. I've been sleeping in a friend's garage since around January with my 2 dogs and my S/O. We are trying to figure out how to get a running working vehicle that is livable in order to finally be able to leave here and have our own little space. I have family in Oregon and Ohio and my boyfriend's 2 children are living in Washington, our destination is North Carolina as we both have relatives and prospective work lined up. Basically, we need a vehicle that is livable and drivable for 2 dogs and 2 adults so we don't have to squat in a garage, this place is a vortex. There is NO work here, there are NO working cars here, NO public transportation, the town is 2 miles long and it takes 4 straight days of walking a barren desert before the next town over which is smaller than here.
