Teaching underprivileged kids English in Delhi will greatly enhance my educational and career prospects. The experience will refine my teaching skills, deepen my understanding of educational challenges, and provide me with a global perspective on education. These skills and insights will be invaluable in my career as I want to create films that create social change and that are linked to ongoing social work. My passion for film links to my passion for philosophy and I want to create media that is as much real and honest as it is heartfelt. The hands-on experience in a different cultural context will set me apart in the job market, showcasing my adaptability, empathy, and commitment to social causes. As well as give me lots of inspiration and ideas for future film projects.

By teaching English, I’ll be equipping the children with a vital skill that can significantly improve their future job opportunities. English proficiency can open doors to better employment, higher education, and a broader understanding of the world. This opportunity to volunteer will help bridge the educational gap, empower these children to pursue their dreams, and potentially lift their families out of poverty. Moreover, my presence and dedication can inspire others in the community to value education and strive for a better future. This is why my passion for teaching and inspiring others drives my commitment to this project. I find great joy in sharing knowledge and seeing others grow and succeed. This project allows me to channel that passion into a meaningful cause, making a tangible difference in the lives of children who otherwise might not have access to quality education. The opportunity to inspire young minds and witness their progress is incredibly rewarding and fuels my desire to continue making a positive impact.

I chose Delhi because it offers a unique blend of cultural richness and pressing educational needs. Delhi's vibrant history and diverse population provide a stimulating environment for teaching and learning. It is a lot different from where I live in England and this in its own right will be a rewarding challenge for myself. The city's significant economic disparities highlight the urgent need for educational initiatives. Which will in hand illustrate to me just how lucky I am to have lived the life that I have lived. I believe that my efforts in this city can make a substantial difference in the lives of the children I will teach.
