My name is Andrei, and I’m a father of 5-year-old twins—a boy and a girl—who have never seen real snow. My wife and I work hard, but after losing my job and falling into debt, even the simplest dreams have slipped out of reach.
For years, our little ones have pointed at pictures of snowy mountains and asked, “Papa, will we ever go there?” I always tell them, “One day.” But with no savings, no insurance, and the cost of living rising, that “one day” has started to feel impossible.
Our dream is simple: to take our children to Canada for their very first ski trip—to give them one beautiful childhood memory that isn’t defined by struggle. We want them to feel the magic of snow under their feet, to laugh, to learn, and to experience something we never could.
