Hi, my name is Vanessa! I am a Registered Nurse who works on a pediatric oncology/hematology/bone marrow transplant unit. Before nursing, I worked at a preschool/daycare for almost 5 years! I absolutely adore children and want to be able to experience childcare in Tanzania. I am currently in school to receive my Doctorate of Nurse Practitioner to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. I am passionate about this destination because I want to gain knowledge of the culture within Tanzania and how to care for children in a different way. I hope to gain insight that will be useful in my future practices. I would want nothing more than to get to spend time with these children and make a meaningful impact on not only them, but myself.
