My Travel Story

Hi, my name is Delaney Medins, and I am raising funds for my first service trip to Puerto Rico in July! I was born into a priveleged life, and I would like to use that privelege to give back to those that were not as fortunate as I was. I believe everyone deserves shelter, a liveable environment, with food and clean water to drink. Since the aftermath of Hurricane Maria in 2017, this has not been attainable for a large chunk of Puerto Rican citizens. The primary goal of this service trip is community development. Community development can range from the construction and maintenance of neighborhoods to working in a food bank. I would love the opportunity to go on this service trip to help impoverished communities.
