Recovering after the loss of my dad and good boy, Tyson
My Travel Story
My dad was sick for many years, and sadly, he passed back in May. Navigating life after losing him has been surreal. Some days are easier than others, but I have been blessed with a supporting family, as well as my best buddy, my dog, Tyson, who has been an endless source of love and comfort for me.
With a heavy heart, I had to let Tyson go peacefully last week. I didn't know he was so sick until it was too late to help him. My heart is breaking all over again as I type this. I wish I did better for him.
The reason I am starting this campaign is because, for the past year, I have been trying to save money to celebrate my friend's 30th birthday in Miami. Every time I save a little bit, something comes up, and I have to spend my savings. Most recently, I had to spend $1500 to find out Tyson was terminally ill and there was nothing I could do to help him. Selfishly, I still want to go to Miami, so I'm hoping to get some help to offset the cost from Tyson's care. I'm also hoping to get some help with my trip back home to spread my dad's ashes, which was his final wish.
I plan on picking up a second job to earn some money, but I keep crunching numbers, and I know in order to pull this off, I'll need some help. Please consider donating to help me honor my dad's final wish, and to relieve the financial burden of losing my good boy, Tyson.
