My Travel Story

I applied to a volunteer program IVHQ that is located in Laos. During my time there I would specifically specialize in childcare. Childcare centers are lively, busy places that can operate much more smoothly with more assistance. As a volunteer, I will be able to help to provide care and attention to local children, increasing the benefit they receive and helping local staff with daily jobs.
Based on various childcare centers around Honkau village, I will help to arrange games and activities, cook, clean, feed and teach the children, as well as provide general attention where it’s needed. You can also help with routine tasks such as administration.
Taking part in this volunteer program is undoubtedly an enriching learning experience. It gives me a chance to learn a new language, and become acquainted with new cultures and ways of life. This program will allow me to broaden my cultural. It offers an opportunity to teach valuable skills such as adaptability, responsibility, and a positive outlook on life. By learning about other people and the way they work, I will also be learning about yourself. I will gain important people skills and learn how to interact with those outside your normal circles. It enables me to learn that there are many approaches to life, and no one approach will ever be supreme.
