Hi everyone,

My name is Cherlyn, and I’m reaching out to you with a heartfelt request. I come from a humble family living in Singapore, a country that is beautiful but also incredibly expensive. Life here has always been about making ends meet. My parents work tirelessly in labor jobs, giving everything they have to ensure I had the basics growing up.

They’ve sacrificed so much for me, often putting aside their own dreams to prioritize my education, food, and shelter. One dream they’ve held onto for decades is visiting Japan. It’s a place they’ve talked about with such wonder and longing since they got married. They always imagined they’d go one day, but life’s demands, high living expenses, and the costs of raising a child have kept that dream out of reach.

Now that I’m older, I want to give back to the people who gave everything to me. I want to make their dream come true—to give them a chance to relax, explore, and experience joy in a way they’ve never been able to. I know how much this trip would mean to them, and I want to see them smile, laugh, and finally take a break from the endless grind.

I am currently working part time while pursuing my degree, I will covering half of the expenses for the trip. The funds I’m hoping to raise will go towards the remaining travel expenses, accommodations, and making sure they can enjoy the trip without worrying about costs. Your support, no matter the amount, would mean the world to me and help create a memory that my family will cherish forever.
