My Travel Story

My name is Tayo Olugbade Segun, I hail from NIgeria and i study chemical Engineering at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. I come from a small town in ado-eKiti, Ekiti state, Nigeria. I recently got a masters scholarship to study Environmental Engineering at Da-yeh university Taiwan. I'm super excited about this scholarship because it will help me achieve my future goals. This scholarship will help me further my career as a passionate environmentalist and also help me reach my aspiration to build sustainable environmental solution in my community in Nigeria.

The scholarship I received only cover tuition fee and incident fee excluding other expenses such as flight ticket, internet fee, student insurance, commercial insurance , sleeping packages, etc. A copy of the payment list is attached to this information with my acceptance letter.

This is the list of what i need to pay for to register in the school upon arrival at the school:

$NT represent Taiwan Currency (Taiwan dollars)

Internet fee cost NT$ 1400 equivalent to $42USD.

Student insurance cost NT$ 875 equivalent to $27USD

Commercial insurance cost NT$ 3000 equivalent to $92USD

Sleeping packages cost NT$ 2000 equivalent to $61USD

Dormitory for one academic semester NT$ 3000 equivalent to $369 USD

Dormitory Deposit NT$ 1000 equivalent to $30 USD

Flight ticket to Taiwan = $1000

Totaling = $1531USD.

My parents names are Olugbade Isaac Durosaye and Olugbade Funso Mercy.

I have attached a copy of My picture, my admission letter and Payment list for verification.

This will be a dream come through for because i have always aspire to give back to my community and contribute to the development of my community in africa. A small contribution to this course will go al long way to help me achieve it. The contribution will be used responsibly to this cause.
