Hello everyone!

I’m beyond excited, and truly grateful, to share an incredible opportunity that’s come my way. In May 2025, I’ll be embarking on a journey that spans both Kenya and Tanzania (two beautiful countries in East Africa) where I’ll be spending about 6 months in volunteering in community schools and early childhood centers that serve children from underprivileged backgrounds.

In Kenya, I’ll be working in rural schools just outside Nakuru, where many families struggle to afford basic school supplies. These schools are more than classrooms, they’re safe spaces where children can learn, eat, and grow in a supportive environment. I’ll be helping with reading lessons, tutoring, creative activities, and lending a hand wherever I’m needed most.

From there, I’ll head to Moshi, Tanzania, located near the base of Mount Kilimanjaro, to volunteer at youth centers and kindergartens that care for children in low-income areas. Many of these centers lack even the most basic learning tools, but the spirit and resilience of the children and staff are nothing short of inspiring. I’ll be supporting the local teams with teaching, play-based learning, mealtime care, and helping to bring joy and creativity to these incredible kids.

To truly make a difference, I’m raising funds to purchase essential supplies things like notebooks, pencils, educational games, uniforms, hygiene items, and basic first aid materials. I plan to buy part of these supplies here at home, but also support local vendors in both Kenya and Tanzania by purchasing many items there, helping not only the children, but the local economies too.

This trip is a dream come true for me, not just to travel, but to serve, connect, and contribute in a meaningful way. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly towards impacting the lives of children who deserve every chance to learn, play, and thrive.

Thank you so much for being part of this journey with me. Your support means more than words can say, and I can’t wait to share stories and moments from Kenya and Tanzania with all of you.

Let’s do something beautiful together.
