My Travel Story

Hi my name is Mattalynn. I'm from a small town outside of Cincinnati Ohio. Ever since, probably middle school, I always dreamed about visiting other counties and studying and/or volunteering abroad. Specifically, I always dreamed of teaching kids in Africa. However, I've discovered there's so many different opportunities and ways to volunteer worldwide. I was going to a University but dropped out after a semester because I knew it wasn't what I wanted and it didn't feel like me. I wasn't happy and I knew there was so much more to the world than getting a college degree (my personal opinion of course). I planned to attend flight attendant training after I dropped out, and that's still somewhat the plan. I applied for that position and now I'm just waiting for an email. I love traveling, I love exploring other countries and cultures, and I just love helping people. I have volunteered multiple times with school groups and made it a goal to volunteer on my own as well. I held a seasonal job while I was attending the university but now I'm still somewhat in search of something I can do to save for volunteering abroad.
