My Travel Story

Hi, my name is Bruno, and I am not really good with words, but I will try my best.

I have very bad to borderline extreme social anxiety and that has made it very difficult to form relationships. Still, somehow I started talking to this lovely girl online, and she has been my girlfriend for almost 2 years now.

Partly thanks to my anxiety and life situation, I am very low income, only enough to scrape by. Saving up is very difficult. She lives in Japan, and so, plane tickets and just day-to-day life expenses are so much more expensive than what I am used to. So we have only been able to meet in real life 3 times for a few weeks and it's mostly thanks to her visiting me in Europe which is where I live (Portugal) . The rest of the time we have just been together through video calls. We miss each other a lot every day that we're not physically together.
But from those 3 trips she has racked up a substantial credit card debt and cannot come visit me any time soon.
I love my girlfriend very much, and I realize it's time for me to go to her, for once. This may be the only time i can spend Christmas with her in Japan since she is planning to move closer to me some day if her work allows her. Christmas will also be our 2 year anniversary, and the best Christmas and anniversary gift would be to spend it with her!

And so I made a fundraiser because I need help and can't make enough on my own until Christmas.
I will be forever grateful, and sadly, I don't think I will be able to repay everyone for their kindness, but I would be more than happy to keep donators updated with pics or videos when I am there!

(Japan is currently closed to visitors due to covid19, but it is assumed that it will open back up before Christmas. If we're unlucky and Japan is still indeed closed, I will still use the money to spend Christmas with her but in a country close to Japan.)

If you read this until the end, thank you so much for your time. I don't know what else to say except thank you.
