Hello family, friends and new supporters,

My name is Kelly and I currently reside in South Africa. My entire life I have been fascinated with helping animals that are in need, and have been saving cats off the streets here at home in SA. I do have 8 cats that I am currently taking care of financially but sadly do not have enough funds to take care of anymore. 

I am currently studying to be a veterinarian and I would like to do more for the animals that need my assistance here at home at the animal shelters. A lot of these shelters are desperate for food/ toys, pet beds and blankets as there is a lack of resources and due to overcrowding of animals. 

Please help with any donations towards vaccinations, dog/ cat food and blankets for the animals in need here. Eventually, once I do have enough donations, I will go to other parts of the country and assist there where needed most. 

If you are not able to assist with money donations, please send through any old blankets/ old dog/ cat beds and toys that you might not need anymore.

  • The costs usually work out here for one cat: R1200 and R1600 to one dog. This cost only includes vaccinations and spaying. 
  • Health check-ups start from R450 for dogs and R445 for cats. 
  • Dental scale and polish (under general anaesthetic) cost R1 300 for cats and R1 500 for dogs.
  • Pre-anaesthetic blood tests (which includes checks for kidney and liver function, electrolytes, diabetes and stress) cost R660.
