My Travel Story

As a Freshman at Onalaska High School, I have been given the opportunity to do something I love...play in band. Not only do I participate in curricular marching and concert band, but I also take part in pep band, Jazz I, Jazz II, trombone ensemble and showband for both Express and Hilltopper Shoe Choir. Throughout my 4 years at OHS I will have the opportunity to travel with the marching band. This year we will be traveling to Chicago to march in the St. Patrick's Day Parade.  On our way to Chicago we will stop in Madison to work with the UW Madison music program and play at the capital. Once in Chicago we will see the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, March in the parade and have many opportunities to enjoy the city. It has been absolutely amazing to have so many opportunities as a freshman. I can't wait to see what the next three years will bring!
