My Travel Story

During my gap year, I plan on traveling to as many countries as possible, volunteering in communities and gaining new perspectives. I also plan on doing a 3 month internship at a human rights law firm in Cape Town, South Africa, as well as a 3 week intensive spanish course in Malaga, Spain in efforts to become fluent.
I’m passionate about my gap year, and doing these things throughout it as I truly believe that in order to be a well-rounded, compassionate human being, I need to put myself in situations where I hope to learn things about myself, develop new skills, create meaningful relationships and gain new perspectives through immersion in other cultures. 
By the end of my gap year, I expect to have gained the life experiences and cultural awareness vital for me becoming an international lawyer with a focus on human rights.
