My Travel Story

This trips will all focus on mentoring young people on attitude, with a title Training your mind to have a better attitude and a vision for better living, Shortened to "Better Thinking Better Living"
  • As an IT student and a public speaker, the trips are ways to get to the people and find out problems they face, which will make me develop a way to fix this problem and in return improve my creativity.
  • I have already planned for the Turkana Youth camp, to be held in a local church hall this August, on the 22nd and expected to host over 400 young people.This Trip will help to empower the young people in some of the most valuable assets, ideas, because I believe there are some cultural practices hindering them from growth and making them believe they are poor.
  • I am really passionate about this because I have this  urge in my heart to help my community and locals get enough money for basic needs first and also make them discover their potential and improve their livelihood.
  • The areas are places I have been to once or twice and have seen the need for mental education and mentoring. Most of which its youth are stuck in drugs due to depression, poverty and lack of education, others have lost motivation due to lack of awareness and occurences such as early pregnancies, school drop outs and even poor parenting.
  • The trip is a mentorship trip to help youth grow a better attitude in life, I have targetted the areas where there is enough and ready resources on the ground but the youth have an attitude of "No Jobs".  The trip will give me expossure so that the youth may understand where to ask for resources and how to ask for the resources.
