My Travel Story

Here is my story my name is Courtney I live in Canada. My interest, knowledge and passion for plants started at a very young age from the very first flower I ever planted with my grandma. In my late teens and young adulthood, my life took a different turn I was a hairstylist for over 18 years during this time I was a single mom working my butt off to support my daughter who is now 19 After 18 years of being a hairstylist I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel so I could no longer do it. During this time my passion and interest for plants never went away I have always had beautiful gardens and a ton of house plants and tropical plants. So I went back to my passion and started working on the merchandising side of perennials, trees and shrubs. Then just over two years ago my youngest brother was in a fatal head-on collision with a semi. He was so young only 31 and it made me realize we never know how long we have! So I decided I wanted to do more than merchandise plants, I wanted to be part of the creating and growing process of perennials, trees and shrubs so I saved every penny so I could go back to school and get my horticulture diploma with an area of focus in Nursery production and Greenhouse productions. I have spent the last 15 months reaching my goal but I need a break and a recharge that is why to celebrate receiving my horticulture diploma I am planning a trip to Greece, Italy and Switzerland. I am only on here because school has financially drained me and I would love to take a trip before starting the next chapter of my life.
