My Travel Story

 Czech-serbian project "Pouť k Transformaci/Put ka transformaciji/Pilgrimage to Transformation" whose goal is to draw attention to insufficient care of old and sick people in Serbia, who are in social need (alone, immobile, without money for - medical care, compensatory aids etc.).

We are a Czech married couple living in Belgrade, Serbia. We became interested in the social situation in Serbia. After what we saw, heard and read here, we realized the necessity to change it. Our friend from the Czech Republic - Marek Müller, recently experienced a great loss. His four-year-old niece died. It was sudden and he didn't have a chance to say goodbye to her. When he heard from us the facts about undervalued and neglected home and palliative care in Serbia, he did not hesitate to become the main face of our project. He went on a walking pilgrimage, which, in cooperation with us, draws attention to the need to change this state of society. 
 Thanks to your donations, we will be able to continue this campaign and finally begin to really help where it is needed.
