My Travel Story

As a graduate student traveling to a whole new country is nerve racking, but what excites me the most is the learning opportunity. If I could write all the reasons why I am interested to participate in the internship at Cape Town it would probably be a novel and most likely bore you. So, in the meantime, I will just focus on my top three reasons why Cape Town is of interest to me; it includes culture immersion, experience and the challenge. I am a huge lover of all cultures coming from a rich culture myself, I value others and how their experiences contribute to the world. I am intrigued by the little nuances that make one individual differ from another at the same time recognizing that both persons are so valuable. There are a lot of scientists that believe learning is genetically predisposed or experienced based, not that I disagree but the latter half is evident and reliable. An occupational therapy internship at Cape Town is basically skills and growth on a platter. An experience as such guarantees me that my learning process will be challenged.
