My Travel Story

The boys and I have been to Bali countless times. In January 2024, we were able to visit local homes and villages. Seeing the difference in the way people lived sparked Harrisons inquisitive mind. At 6 years old, he asked what we could do to help ensure that people in Bali were looked after, especially after returning home. Declan has been doing an awards program, with a large aspect focused on volunteering. I have been involved in healthcare for >12yrs. When we blended all these aspects together, we decided to volunteer in Bali. January 2025 will see us volunteering from 9-5 daily across many schools in the Ubud area, teaching children health education. The boys have plans to provide education surrounding oral and hand hygiene and cross-contamination. We are working hard to ensure everyone gets the most out of this experience. We have paid for all of our expenses; however, we aim to raise money for this project to continue and ensure that as many people have access to dental hygiene and hand sanitising products as possible.
