My Travel Story

My name is Eunice, I was a displaced medical student from Ukraine where I witnessed the Russian invasion on February 24th 2022 that left many people displaced, vulnerable and lost their lives. The invasion disrupted my studies when I was in my 5th year and had only 1 year more to graduate as a Medical Doctor from V. N Karazin Kharkiv National University Ukraine.
 
I was fortunate to have escaped the war alive when the city I was residing and schooling in was badly hit. This situation affected my training to becoming a medical doctor as the medical association in my home country will not acknowledge an online study which was the only alternative the schools in Ukraine could offer. 
 
I had to get a new school to continue my studies. I got admitted to a University in the Carribean to continue my studies where I had to commence from Year 3. 
Unfortunately, I lost my Dad who was my sponsor, in August 2022, and things are currently very difficult for my family to continue paying for my tuition fees which is higher than what I had to pay at Ukraine.
 
Please I need some financial assistance to enable complete my studies and my dream of being a Medical Doctor to contribute to saving lives, come true.
