History and Science: An Adventure to Switzerland and Germany
My Travel Story
The trip we have planned is a cross-curricular integration of both Science and History. We want to expose our students to not only the history and culture of these amazing countries but also show how they are at the forefront of developing innovative sustainability efforts through their use of renewable energy, urban farming, and eco-tourism. The goal is not only to educate students on these topics but to also show them how it can be accomplished successfully and to come home with their own ideas of how our local, state, and federal programs can reduce the use of nonrenewable resources and go green!
