My Travel Story

Greetings Everyone,

This is my first time hearing of this website and wow this is absolutely wonderful. I would like to say thank you for the amazing people who have funded these travels and making dreams come true.

Where to begin when there is so much to say. I am a single mom of 4 who are now adults. My oldest made me a grandmother to the most adorable little toddler whom I love so so much. It is because of her, I’m requesting assistance to take her to Disney World and Universal Studios in Florida.

A couple years ago, our world changed forever. At the tender age of 2 going on 3, she just came home and everything seemed ok just another normal day with her. I finally decided to bathe one of our dogs because well she was stank lol for one and we can’t take her to the groomers because for a little chihuahua she is aggressive smh. Anyway, as I was about to bathe her my granddaughter started screaming I mean screaming like someone was hurting her. She kept telling me to stop bathing our dog. Very out of character for her. I kept ensuring her that our dog was safe and she needed a bath because she didn’t smell good. After I’d say about 10 minutes of her screaming she started to calm down still uneasy with me bathing our dog.

Not too long after, I received a call from my daughter. She told me when she was trying to bathe my granddaughter she started screaming again but this time she was using her hands to cover her private areas. She then shared that someone had inappropriately touched her and told us who did it.

Lord even after 2 years it’s so hard to write this. I’m literally crying. We immediately called the police and were given instructions on how to proceed. I unfortunately can not continue or elaborate more because of legal reasons which I’m sure you would understand. This is another thing I wish I had help on but uh that’s another days subject.

We as a family had to go through so much because of this. My grandbaby did not want to shower for a while. She even had nightmares. It was hard very hard. Some days I would be playing with her and I’d just stop to look at her and start crying because I never thought this would ever happen to her. Even feeling bad because we didn’t protect her from this.

So for 2 years we have tried very hard to make her forget like taking her out to play, eating out, taking her to church, always keeping her busy and focused on other things. And for the most part it worked. She didn’t have the nightmares anymore.

I really would like to take her to Disney World and Universal Studios (she's a huge Harry Potter fan lol) because she’s an amazing little girl and she deserves it. She has her moments but ultimately she is well behaved. For a 4 year old she is intelligent, witty, and super funny.  It's funny because I asked what she wants to do or what she wants to see there and she wants to eat the foods in Disney World.  Lol.

I'm hoping to get the VIP tour only because my health won't allow me to stand or walk long distances.  I also want to hopefully get one of their electric scooters.  I want to make sure she gets to enjoy as much rides as she can go on with her mom and uncle. I'm hoping to ride on some of the rides with her also.  I want her to see the castle and the fireworks.  I want her to take a lot of photos with the Disney's characters and document our time there.  I want to take to Diagon Alley and buy her a wand.  I just want her to have fun fun fun.  

All pricing is in the higher end because we live in Hawaii and I wanted her first trip on a plane to be first class, the hotel is the Animal Kingdom Lodge and then the VIP tour.  I know it's a bit much but I decided to request it because I want the very best for her and our family who are going.  If I could write more about the rest of us omg you will know this trip is well deserved.  Please help us go to Florida.  If you made it to the end of this, thank you so much for taking the time to read this.  I truly appreciate you and whatever you decide to give.  Even a dollar means a lot to me because really really you didn't have to.  Thank you again and God bless you in every arena of your life.
