My Travel Story

My name is Rizma Salimahomed, and I’m a 25-year-old South African woman with a dream that’s been burning inside me for as long as I can remember to relocate to the UK for education, work, and a better future, not just for myself, but for my family.

I live in a household of five, and I am the only one currently working to support us. Every rand I earn goes toward putting food on the table and keeping us afloat. But my dreams have always been bigger than survival. I have a passion for learning, growth, and making a difference not only in my life but in the lives of others around me.

The UK represents an opportunity for safety, access to quality education, and the chance to build a meaningful career. I chose this destination because I believe I can thrive there both personally and professionally. But financially, the road is impossible to walk alone. That’s why I’m reaching out for support, for belief, and for one chance to rewrite my future.

Your donation will help cover visa costs, travel, initial accommodation, and essential living expenses. With your help, I can pursue higher education, find meaningful work, and eventually uplift my family from our current struggles.

This campaign isn’t just about leaving it’s about building something better and giving back. I promise to pay it forward in every way I can.

If you’ve read this far, thank you. Please consider helping me take the first step toward a new life filled with hope, opportunity, and purpose.

With love and determination,

    Global Talent Visa
I’m reaching out with humility and hope. I have the qualifications to apply for the UK Global Talent Visa a pathway that would allow me to grow professionally, contribute meaningfully, and unlock life-changing opportunities for myself and my family. But right now, I’m unable to afford the visa and application fees required to begin this process.

This visa isn’t just a career move it’s the gateway to fulfilling my potential, giving back through my work, and creating a stable future. I’ve worked hard to reach the point where I qualify, but funding is the one thing standing in my way.

If you’re in a position to help even by contributing a portion of the cost or assisting directly with the payment it would mean the world to me. Your support wouldn’t just be helping me apply for a visa; it would be helping me build a future.

Every bit of help counts. Thank you for believing in me and for being part of this journey.

    With deep gratitude,
    Rizma Salimahomed

    Study
I’ve been given the opportunity to apply to a university in the UK an academic path that aligns perfectly with my passion and long-term goals. But as exciting as this journey is, the cost of the application process itself is more than I can afford right now. From application fees to required documentation and processing costs, every step forward requires funding I currently don’t have.

This isn’t just about me, my dream of studying abroad is deeply connected to a bigger mission: to support my family and create a stable, brighter future for us all. Education is the key that can unlock those doors, but I can’t turn it without your help.

If you believe in the power of education and the impact one person can make, I’m asking for your support. No amount is too small—every contribution brings me closer to applying, enrolling, and eventually giving back.

Thank you for being part of this journey.
