My Travel Story

Please help me get to England to study music production! I am being offered the opportunity to pursue one of my biggest dreams in the UK. I have a deep love for music and singing, and I'll be able to immerse myself in eveything about it including producing, singing/songwriting, technology/audio-engineering of it, and collabortaing with other like-minded artists/creatives. Overall, making music that is healing for the overall mind, body, heart, and soul is my ultimate goal.

Traveling and exposure to various cultures has been a significant influence on my upbring, and I've had my eye on England/UK for a while. Whether to visit and/or live, and it seems like this opportunity is in alignment with my goals since I pursued this idea in 2022. Not only will I be acheiving a life goal, but this will allow me to get back on the path of autonomy and living my own life for a more sustainable work/life balance. 

I was offered a confirmed place at University Westminster in the Music Production, Performance, and Business BA (Hons) program in September 2022 for 2023 term, and had to withdraw and re-apply for 2025 not having raised my deposit and school tuition in time. Since having thoroughly processed eveything about the decision to study in England I'm comitted to seeing this through to reality as I imagine myself there already!

Having 2 prior degrees and being considered an international student from the states, I'm going to need as much support as possible. Doing my due dilligence, there aren't many scholarships/ grants available for American students from my selected University at the moment, and I've applied for FAFSA and numerous scholarships on BoldDotOrg, Scholly, etc to no avail yet. Also, I can't guarentee much support from family as it would be used as manipulation for control in my life and keep me codependent. (I've been through that already many times, and this is one of the main reasons I'm in the situation I'm in and I've made this mutual aid petiton).

In transparency, I have to submit a depost fee of at least £4000 (currently $5,252.00) by May 2025 in order for University of Westminster to begin my student visa application. After that comes the plane ticket, shipping some of my things, and any other living needs while studying in England.
