My Travel Story

Myself and my colleague Ailsa are embarking on a volunteerig trip to Zambia in March 2024 to volunteer in a kindergarten. We hope to help provide these children with new and fun ideas on different ways to learn. We plan to organise actvitivies before we embark on our journey so that we can bring supplies over for the children who were are volunteering with, which ranges from children between 2 and 7 years old. This is our first time voluntering abroad and we hope that after our first trip and having an insight into how beneficial our help is to these children and families, we can bring it back to the UK where we can promote other young people to do the same as us and volunteer abroad. We also hope that next time when we plan our next trip, we can bring our nursig skills over and help within a hospital to children and families who are unwell and requiring medical assisatnce. We are keen to help and make a difference to children and their families lives and we hope that by volunteering we can help achieve this and encourage other peole to do the same.
