Let's Make Jorge's Dream Come True: Seeing the Northern Lights

Jorge, a very dear classmate from our university, is 56 years old and has always dreamed of seeing the Northern Lights. Over time, he has become more than just a friend to us: he has cared for us and advised us as if we were his own children, since unfortunately he cannot have his own. Today, we want to give him back a little of that love and gratitude, by fulfilling his greatest dream, but to do so, we need your help.

A Difficult Year for Jorge
Last year was especially hard for him. The business of his life, a small store that he had built with effort, burned down completely. In a matter of hours, he lost everything. As if this were not enough, his wife left him, leaving him alone at a critical moment. Jorge had to use all his savings to cover the debts and try to save what little was left. For months he went through a deep depression, but despite everything, he was always there for us.

He never denied us his support or his time. He listened to us in our difficult moments and motivated us not to give up. His generosity was constant, even when his world was falling apart. Now it is our turn to give him back a little of the hope he always had for us.

Fulfilling his Dream: Traveling to See the Northern Lights
We know that the Northern Lights are Jorge's greatest dream. He has talked about this magical phenomenon since we met him, and seeing them would be the perfect way to regain joy and close this difficult chapter in his life. We plan to travel with him in March or April since the activity of the auroras is more intense and the conditions are ideal to witness them.

However, organizing this trip is not easy. As students, our resources are limited, and that is why we turn to the solidarity of those who want to help us fulfill this dream. Every small contribution will bring us closer to our goal: seeing Jorge smile under a sky illuminated by the northern lights. If we can't raise the money needed to travel with the 5 of us, we hope to at least raise enough for Jorge to be able to travel and fulfill his dream.
