My Travel Story

Please help fund my volunteering experience in Kenya in July 2021 through African Adventures. We will be based in Nakuru in the Rift Valley working within some of the 14 local projects African Adventures supports in the community.

These projects help to provide education for 10,000 children aged from 5 to 16, helping to providing teaching resources and volunteers. The projects also deliver free lunches daily for all children, which for some might be the only meal they have in the day.  

I'm really looking forward to my trip as we will be volunteering within some schools in Nakuru. This will include building and renovating work to improve facilities and allow for the increasing student numbers. I'll also be helping in lessons teaching maths and english and also taking part in sports and games. 

I can't wait to learn lots about life in Kenya and learn from the children I will be working with. I'm looking forward to experiencing the culture,learning about myself and also learning some new dance moves and songs from my new friends as we work together.
