Leah's psychology abroad trip
My Travel Story
As most of you know, I am currently enrolled at Pfeiffer University and I am majoring in Nursing with a minor in Psychology. Before going into my last year of college, I decided that I would like to try to study abroad!
I found an opportunity through ISA Abroad, a program for undergraduate students to gain knowledge in language, culture, and advance my studies in a psychology minor. I am excited to say I have recently been accepted into one of their summer programs and will be attending Korea University June 27th-August 8th. I will be taking 9 credits that transfer after the program.
During this trip, I will have the opportunity to study psychology as well as learn a language and cultural differences to serve my community in health care more inclusively. This exchange will provide so many potential opportunities for my future and I am very excited to go. I think that this exchange in Korea will also help me grow into a better person and a better student, and it is something that I will always be grateful for.
Unfortunately, the program does not include a meal plan, airfare, or books & supplies and my financial aid does not cover summer programs. This fundraiser is to help with tuition costs and to make sure that I will have everything that I need while abroad! Any donation is very helpful, and I cannot thank you enough for helping me pursue this exchange to further my education.
Thank you again and if you have any questions, please send me an email at leahjessica52@gmail.com
