My Travel Story

Hi everyone! I am so excited to share that I will be studying abroad in Greece for Summer 2025! For five weeks, I will be calling the beautiful city of Athens my home. 

Participating in this study abroad trip will allow me to strengthen my overall professionalism, experience a new culture, help me learn a new language, and will provide me an opportunity to help a community that is different from my own through volunteering and community outreach. I am hoping that it will give me the opportunity the shadow dentists in Greece to be able to understand the cultural, social, and economical differences of the dental field in other countries.

Next year is my final year of my undergraduate studies, and I am so grateful and blessed to be able to go on this trip in such a pivotal time of my studies! I hope that this trip will provide me with values and sentiments that I will hold close to my heart for the rest of my life.

If you know me, you know that I am a huge homebody and love to be around my people. However, I want to use this opportunity to experience more of this world. I believe that there is so much this world has to offer if you just step out of your comfort zone. Study abroad is known for making people grow out of their comfort zone, and that is exactly what I hope it will do for me!
