My Travel Story

I am heading to Athens, Greece, for 10 weeks to work with the Hard Places Community (a non-profit organization) in the restorative work with refugees. These refugees have walked on foot for months, even years, to get to Turkey and had to fight for a chance to make it across the Mediterranean Sea to Greece (the only country with open borders for refugees in Europe. These people have faced more trauma than we can imagine, from mental exhaustion, physical beatings, and sexual exploitation. I went to Athens last summer for 6 weeks to work with these refugees and am returning this summer with your help! This summer, I will be teaching English and first aid along with working with refugees in doing art therapy and sharing the Good News of Jesus! These people are searching for a hope and yearning for a love that one can only know through the powerful love of Jesus! I appreciate any donation and specifically prayer!!
