My Travel Story

Hi my name is Christina, and I always dreamed of traveling the world, seeing it as a way to broaden horizons and increase globalization. As a junior in high school, I made the decision to apply for a prestigious study abroad program scholarship, and became a state finalist. At this point, I graduated high school a year early with academic honors and Summa Cum Laude. Unfortunately, I was weight-listed on my scholarship, but still have the drive to study abroad. I am currently working two jobs to fund my travels, but am still in major needs of funding, any penny would help.
During my study abroad, I hope to perfect my language skills, further my education with regards to a new culture, and find a sense of meaning in my life. I am so passionate about Germany being my location as I am the granddaughter of two german refugees who left their country in the thralls of the Cold War, and because of this, I wish to learn about where my family comes from.
If my dream to study abroad comes to light, I hope to further my education in a German university, studying to become a reconstructive plastic surgeon, using my improved language skills to excel in my college and career paths.
