I'm passionate about this because of recent family events that well.. have lead me to do this. My family has never been particularly wealthy. We're middle class, and we live a comfortable life. However some context is needed. Recently, my Grandmother has just given my uncle 10,000 dollars, and sadly this is not the first time this has happened. (He is addicted to drugs, and can't take no for an answer.) because of this, my great uncle has taken my grandmother off of their shared trust fund, leaving her with a considerably smaller amount of money. 

In normal circumstances, she would have helped pay for the small yearly family vacation. However, as her grandson, I would hate to stress her whatsoever, and because a vacation is a luxury, I don't think it's worth the cash. 

This leads to my main point. I (15) have always been interested in planning a family vacation surrounding the Appalachian mountains, and with the help of a handy travel website, I've been able to create a vacation that includes everything from each family members needs!

The trip will cost roughly around 5,000 dollars. I understand completely if no one donates, and I can't say I don't blame them. However, it would honestly be my dream if this could happen! (Plus I'd get to tour two collages I'm interested in :)
