My Travel Story

It has been a dream of mine to visit Japan to immerse myself in the culture, food and language. As a junior in high school, I am looking forward to college to obtain a degree in education and the Japanese language so I can teach english in Japan. This trip will allow me to study the Japanese culture and language just before I graduate high school and start my college experience. This will also allow me to grow and influence my decision to become an educator overseas and the world. It will mean so much to me to be able to something I am passionate about and Japan and their culture is something I have always wanted to immerse myself into. If you can help me get that chance to follow my dream, I would be forever grateful. 

I have applied to study abroad with the CIEE Global Navigator High School Study Abroad  program. My destination will be Tokyo or Kyoto, Japan.
