My Travel Story

Attending an Archaeological field school is an important part of completing a well rounded Anthropology degree. When I began looking for one to attend, I found the Irish Arachaeological Field school and quickly fell in love with it! Both sides of my mother's family came from Ireland and being Irish-American has always been a large part of my identity. I have yet to travel outside of the U.S and think this would be a great place to start! When I told my grandmother where the school was, she told me that my paternal great-grandmother was from the same county, which only made me more excited. I am not in a financial position to be able to pay for the trip outright so I am applying for grants and scholarships and any other avenue I can find. Thank you!
