I haven't been on a vacation in over 20 years. A friend of mine asked me at the last minute to go with her to Jamaica in October. I would love to go but money is tight. I really need this trip to ecsape my life. Bad luck just seems to follow me. I'm a Black woman with depression, anxiety, adhd and a learning disability. I'm 45 and I've never made more than $35,000 a year. I am not successful and I never will be, and I am reminded of this all the time by people in my life and strangers. I just need to get away, even if it's just for one week. Maybe in Jamaica i'll be seen as normal for once. I would appreciate any amount that you can spare. Thanks so much for reading.
