I went to South New Zealand 10 years ago and I fell in love with the life and people there. I am a nature lover and I love the serenity and peace of this country. I love exploring unbeaten paths and could spend the whole day just staring at a scenery and absorbing the energy of the place. Spent 3 weeks solo exploring the whole of South NZ, being an avid photographer, I took many beautiful photos, learnt so much and met alot of kind people too. Once, a very helpful couple put me up in their home when I met an accident. They not only gave me a shelter, but also fed me and we walked the horses, fed the chooks and lambs together. That was the most memorable moment of my life. I vowed to return at age 40 and make New Zealand my permanent place of residence, with Queenstown being my home. Queenstown has great nature scenery yet still accessible to civilization. I hope to open a shop in Queenstown selling home interior accessories, which is another passion since young and hobby of mine. I enjoy home interior immensely and always looking for home improvement ideas. Currently I am leasing my Chinese fusion antique looking home in Singapore for short term rentals and could do the same if I am staying in Queenstown.

My background
I am a Singaporean and graduated with a Finance major. I have been working in banks eg Merrill Lynch upon graduation. Left the banking world as I find it too politically l stressful and started a small scale home based business. Ive always look forward to an idyllic lifestyle. I enjoy travelling, gardening and cooking too. I made a goal to move to New Zealand at age 40. I am 39 now and will turn 40 next year Jun 2021.
