In the heart of ambition and the pursuit of knowledge lies the Academy for College and Career Exploration (ACCE). At ACCE, we believe in breaking barriers and opening doors to opportunities that extend beyond the confines of textbooks and classrooms. This year, we embark on a mission to make dreams come true for our deserving students, as we launch a fundraising campaign to take them on a life-changing educational trip to Italy.

Our itinerary is meticulously crafted to not only explore the rich history and culture of Italy but also to broaden the horizons of our students in ways that textbooks cannot. The journey begins as our students fly overnight to Italy, filled with excitement and anticipation for the adventures that await them.

Upon arrival, the group will take a ferry to the enchanting city of Venice. Guided by a local expert, our students will stroll through the iconic St. Mark's Square, navigate the Grand Canal, and witness the artistry of Venetian glass-blowing in a captivating demonstration. The adventure continues as they travel by water taxi to the picturesque island of Burano, where vibrant colors and charming landscapes create a breathtaking backdrop for exploration. A gondola ride through the winding canals adds a touch of romance and authenticity to their Venetian experience.

Next stop, Florence. Steeped in Renaissance history, our students will be guided through the city's treasures by a knowledgeable local guide. From the historic Piazza della Signoria to the iconic Ponte Vecchio, and the awe-inspiring Basilica of Santa Croce, the journey through Florence promises to be a visual and educational feast. The Gates of Paradise will open to reveal the wonders of this cultural hub.

As the adventure unfolds, the group will travel via Assisi to Rome, immersing themselves in the charm of Assisi with a guided tour of the Basilica of St. Francis. The ancient wonders of the Roman Forum and Colosseum await exploration, guided by an expert who will breathe life into the stories of ancient civilizations.

The Vatican City beckons, offering an exclusive tour led by a local expert. From the breathtaking Sistine Chapel to the grandeur of St. Peter's Basilica, our students will witness the art and history encapsulated within these sacred walls. A self-guided walking tour through the streets of Rome will unveil iconic landmarks such as the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and the Spanish Steps.

To conclude this transformative journey, a free day in Rome allows our students to explore at their own pace, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
